Lights, Camera, Action! Thank you Ms. Jackson!

🎶 Janet Jackson presented a memorable concert at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Her new millennium tour kicked off a great season of live music. I made my way to the outdoor venue with my sister, and it was great to be “Together Again”, and in the full house audience.

People, young and old, were singing along and the familiarity of her tunes became all at once timeless. There were many bright moments, and what I loved most was the diversity of age groups. Janet urged everyone to turn on their mobile flash lights and the energy simultaneously brought tears to her eyes and mine.

Needless to say, the iconic singer brought the roof down. From the beginning to end, the band was tight and the visuals were impressive. All of Janet’s outfits were coordinated with a beautiful light show. She spent more than two hours on stage with an ensemble of dancers, and even came back for a rousing encore. From the choreography, to the presentation of her full catalog of music, the concert was amazing.
